Hello, my name is Jaymie, and I am a
third fifth grade teacher.
I am married to a wonderful man and have two crazy awesome dogs. I live and teach in North Carolina and am a UNC alumni (GO HEELS). I believe in, and teach, the oxford comma, and I could live off of an endless supply of caramel macchiatos.
When it comes to teaching I embrace small groups. Differentiation is something that I am passionate about and couldn’t imagine a life without. My first kidney table changed the way I teach, and now I have two of them in my classroom! Small groups help me stay true to my teaching philosophies and allow me to build and maintain positive relationships with my students.
Learning is not something one person can do alone. We are all in this together.
Come learn with me!
